2.wipe cache partition

4.Format/system (in mounts and storage)

7.Install Iced_Bean_3.0.zip
8. Install Device Stabilizer & select your Device
9.Reboot now & it's done !
10. After rebooting, flash this zip to enable init.d support(locked BL/stock kernel without init.d)

After flashing give the phone 1 hour to settle down & for scanning all media

Why another stock based ROM and why should I use Pure Xperia HD?
- There are excellent ROMs out there and no need to discuss the great work of thilinaC as everyone knows what he is and what he has contributed.. :D But i thought to make a rom that gives a stress on PERFORMANCE rather than making people amazed just by writing cool stuff in the OP and actually nothing inside.. :p Pure Xperia HD gives you a balance between PERFORMANCE as well as battery life with excellent memory management.. Its time people are moving towards JB and I made an ICS ROM.. :D I dont mind guys.. ofcourse with time people move ahead.. But I want to give you all a last cool ICS experience before moving towards JB if you are planning to do so.. To clear all your anger and misunderstandings about the performance and usage of ICS,.. :D :p
Go ahead and give it shot.. I promise you wont regret.. :)



Things to be noted:

 

-Presently it is for xperia neo v only.. will get it for neo soon..
-Reboot option not provided in power off menu.. Use the toggle from the tabbed menu on the status bar.. there both reboot and reboot to cwm options provided.. :) (check screenshot in post #2)
-boot delay time reported by testers on vengeance kernel.. so if you using this kernel be patient for the device to start..
-For wifi flash the respective kernel modules you are using..
-If u face a little lag in app drawer, then its the launcher problem of xperia z.. Not rom issue.. If you want me to change it then please suggest some good launchers.. Il do the same in the next update according to the majority.. :)
-If any problems faced,, search first for the issue.. rather than spamming the thread unnecessarily.. Still if problems persist.. post here..
-For best gaming experience, just close all the running apps manually from settings>apps>running to make more RAM available and also to lessen the disturbance due to other apps which cause lags..
-Your Questions will be answered by any of the ST OCTANE TRANSFORMERS' members.. be patient.. :)

Guys here is a small update of build.prop..

**Changelog**
-Mobile Bravia Engine enabled
-Improved touch sensitivity and smoothness..
-Improved battery..(less drains on cell standby now..)
-Lesser lags in app drawer and launcher..

How to replace the existing build.prop?
1. Download the new build.prop file..( link below).
2. Open root explorer.. Go to system..
3. Paste the new build.prop by replacing the existing one..
4. Change permissions.. It should look like this: ( rw-r-r)

5. Done.. :D

It would have been stupid to make another 170mb update only for a 5kb update.. I hope you guys wont mind making this change by taking small efforts.. ;)

Boot delay issue reported by some user after changing the build.prop.. So if anyone finds the same, no problem.. Report me here and I will change and re-update it.. :)


Please note: If you are having no lag issues or any battery drain problem, its not an issue if you dont update this.. Its totally upto you.. :)

0.Flash any ics kernel.. recommended is suave..
1. Reboot to cwm.
2. Wipe data/factory reset.
3. Wipe cache partition.
4. Wipe dalvic cache under advanced menu.
5. Wipe battery stats under advanced menu.
6. Format data under mount and storage menu.
7. Format system under mount and storage menu.
8. Format cache under mount and storage menu.
9. Install zip from sd card.
10. go back to CWM.
12. Now reboot your phone..

For Locked Bootloader

1. Reboot to cwm.

About the ROM:

We all know the JJ'Hybrid rom AOSP & Sony. Well this is a small continuation of that rom. Updating some and including some improvements.

Of course Bootloader supports locked & unlocked

First of all to thank JJ for his great work and his great contribution to the community.

FEATURES:

The rom is a mix of software and AOKP Sony ICS, ie mix of android and open source software for our terminal Sony sack with the advantages that entails. What are characteristics of both systems.

Many changes but few references to performance improvement or bug's solution compared to 2.3

Framework:
Themed menus Black with gray matter.
-Changed pathlogo, fondé default screen.
-Removed the option to display the input method (keyboard) to write in the notification bar. Now not appear. Reason ... can be configured in settings-> language and script.

Apps:
-They have themed all possible Inverted Apps.
-The only one that I could not have been contacts and is themed as possible.
Localcontacts and PicoTts removed. Localcontacts no longer served at all in this rom. PicoTts and tts folder are GoogleTts 4.5 mb vs 6mb so I preferred to leave this.
-Themed widgets have left many semi-transparent very nice.
-Substituted by the SlimFilemanager CMFileManager. Besides that weighs four times less fully functional root access is super simple and efficient.
-Changed Digital Clock widget by AOKP with Motorola clock timer. We sacrifice the digital clock timer. Something visual for something effective.
-New icon for connected DLNA devices

-Replaced bootanimation with a new simple and light. 1.4 mb vs 260kb
-Replaced AOSP sounds by default and now sounding the AOSP, included only 3 SE classics

2.3
-Completely rebuilt since version 1.0 HDMI to solve problems that already works again.
-Added the Xperia S default keyboard. To avoid the problem of vibration.
-Added more gapps to avoid problems like VoiceSearch.
-Added google Ears because it works well and what occupies.
-Build.prop edited to correct some errors.

About the tool:

It is an executable application and I have included the required things with it but make sure to install all the required drivers. This tool can be used for the following things:
+ Flashing .img files.(Includes, system, userdata and kernel)
+ Flashing .sin files.(Includes, system, userdata and kernel)
Works for NEO,NEO V,ARC,ARC S,NEO L,RAY :)



How to use this tool and what are the requirements for it?



Before using this tool, make sure you have:
+ A rooted phone(all it's functions are for rooted phones) with USB debugging enabled.
+ Phones drivers installed.
+ A recovery installed.(CWM recommended)
+ Basic knowledge of android, adb and fastboot.
+ A working Mind.(Includes Common sense). :p
+ Kindness to press the THANKS button.

STEPS TO FLASH :

Extract the files using Winrar
Rename your kernel to "boot.img"(Incase it's some other name)
Place it in the IMG folder
Start the Batch File
Press 1

Extract the files using Winrar
Find a KERNEL .FTF file
Select it and extract using any Archiver like Winrar
You'll find the "kernel.sin" in that

Important notes and tips:



1. While you boot in fastboot mode please wait for some time till the PC recognizes your phone and loads the appropriate drivers.(Only first time needed)
2. Make sure you close all the adb based tools before this like SUS, PCC, Flashtool, Rooting Toolkits, etc. Or else go to TaskManager in your PC and end the adb.exe and fastboot.exe processes.
3. Always make a backup before doing anything

built for performance and stability

I have tried every possible ROM available on XDA and after a lot of research i found nothing is best other than Stock GB for our phone so i decided to make my ROM using Stcok GB ROM with Root and some tweaks that is found on XDA. So i made this ROM so i thought why shouldn't i share this with XDA after all whatever i learnt is from XDA

So here i present to you Trentium GB cooked only for performance and stability.

Now before you start using my ROM i want to clear some facts here i made this ROM for myself only i may not update this ROM. But since some things are need to be changed here i will update for myself at least so then i will update here. Since i work monday to friday in the office it may take some time to update this.

Q: So what is new about this ROM?
A: Nothing, nada. I made this for performance and stability only but i added some tweaks in build.prop and some new things that wanted like keyboard, music player and launcher which will give around 240 MB RAM all the time(considering all extra apps are closed).

MIUIv5 3.3.29 based on CyanogenMod 10 First Public Beta

DOWNLOAD: Kernel (Use these kernels as other won't work) (This is rebuilded Fusion 5.0 kernels from here)

I have now managed to build ubuntu-touch for Sony Xperia Neo V.

If you don't have unlocked your bootloader yet, go to http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com and unlock it first.
Before flashing this .zip you have to unpack the boot.img in the zip and flash it with fastboot. The generic ubuntu-part is installed onto a second partition on the SD-Card (ext4), that you have to create first. You can do this either in the CWM or with a linux computer, but make a backup of your data first. The partition has to be at least 2GB, better more. Then flash both zip-files using CWM onto the device. You can access CWM-recovery by pressing the Volume-down button continuously while booting the phone.

Of course any developers are welcome, that want to help fixing the current bugs like enabling the new daily images of ubuntu-touch which currently only produce a black screen.

Installation:

0.Flash Fusion 5.0/5.1 or LuPuS v3/v4 Kernel.
1.Copy ROM and GAPPS to SD CARD.
2.Boot into CWM or TWRP.
3.Make factory reset.
4.Wipe cache, dalvik cache and data.
5.Wipe and format /system.
6.Flash ROM.
7.Flash Lite GAPPS or normal GAPPS.
8.Flash wi-fi modules.
9.After first boot go to ROM Control/Performance and give superuser permissions for it.


I recommend use FUSION 5.0 for better battery life and FUSION 5.1 for best performance.
Superlite GAPPS are GAPPS without all useless apk's, very light and some apps are updated.

This miui bases on AOSP JB 4.1.2 by mikegaapinski, so do not expect more than from the base. Some apps are still from AOSP rom (e.g. Radio) do not delete them, cause you may get FCs or loose features. Works with unlocked bootloaders only.

Important:
-if it will ask for network unlock code just dismiss the window (if you have a PIN protection then type it there)
-to be able to use dsp effects you have to got to miui's equalizer and pick DSP from effects list
-if phone will seem like it freezes just press home button (keep in mind that whole miui v5 is beta stage)
-enable root in Permissions app from "System & Tools" folder, the one on desktop is just the second activity for the same app (big mistery for me) - the same with autostart app
-internal memory from the last screen really means external memory for our phone (AFAIK official miui devices are having internal SDCards as internal memory, we do not have one, so it will show you your external sd info, gonna retranslate the next week)

Installation:
+it's good to have baseband 77 from .587
-flash any kernel jb (am using pac kernel, but there is lupus v4 inside zip simply because it has 490mb of available ram to manage)
-do full wipe including dalvik cache
-install miuixperia-v5-neov-3.x.x.zip through recovery
-boot up then restart to recovery (this is important)
-install patch (only mt15i users)
-install gapps (optional)
do not flash zip after zip, reboot your device before flashing other zip!

Hello fellow XDAers.
I am soon going to release in public a custom rom. It created this mostly for Locked Bootloader devices but it should probably work on unlocked bootloaders too. It is based on this http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1994064 awesome rom by sesme.
I am still trying to search for bugs and if possible fix them. It is pretty damned good and beautiful.
So currently i am searching for some beta tester.
If you want to participate into beta you must send me a private message.
in order to be accepted you MUST
1)Have knowledge with flashing custom roms on locked bootloader. (easy thing)
2)Can speak English or Greek good enough. (well i am not from England and so my English are not perfect but still if we cant communicate there is no reason for becoming a beta tester.)
3) I don't think anything more is need ;)

ABOUT THE ROM
This is a stock modified ROM built from experience, after wandering from here and there tried dozens of ROM's from XDA and found out only a Gingerbread ROM can only gives our device a sturdy performance so tried a lot of tweakings and customizations and after that come up with my very own stock modified StDroid ROM (St for Stock and Droid for Android) which has best of all learning experience, which will provide u very fluent performance without any lag at all, games run smooth and fast. Tried Temple Run 2 with lowest graphics, Subway Surfer and many more..
Just give a try with proper attention to all the below instructions and you wont be disappointed...

HOW TO INSTALL


A. All steps should be done in following order.

1. Download StRoid GB ROM and put it in your SD Card.

2. Flash original .62 firmware of your device via Flash Tool. (Not a mendatory step)

3. For locked bootloader (Unlock bootloader skip this step)

1. Flash .42 kernel.

2. Power on and root your device using doomlord rooting kit.

3. Install CWM recovery.

4. Power off your device.

4. Flash the kernel inside the StroidGB1.0.zip file. (For Unlocked bootloader only)

5. Now power on your device and by constantly pressing Volume Down key go in to CWM Recovery mode.

6. In CWM Recovery Mode follow these steps.

1. Do, 'data factory reset'.

2. Go to 'mounts and storage' option, mount '/system' now go below and format '/system'.

3. Go back and then go to 'advance' option wipe 'Dalvik Cache' and 'Battery Stats'.

4. Go back choose 'install zip form sdcard'.

5. Browse for the ROM u want to install then select it and install.

6. Go back and select 'reboot the system now'.

AFTER INSTALLATION (For Optimum Performance and UI)

Do not change OC (Overclock) CPU, Governer and I/O (Input Output) Scheduler settings. Use only recommended kernel inside the zip file.

Open app drawer, open Seeder app, allow Superuser request and set it on boot and RNG service profile to moderate and tap on OFF button.

Press the right menu button, go to Launcher settings > AllApps settings > Un-check "Highlight recent used app" option.

On home screen long press, go to choose widget, here select the second "Analogue Clock" widget.

Add an Google account and must sync.

Now let the phone settle down for 10 mins and reboot your phone.

To get the max gaming performance turn off Data and GPS.

Use Nozzy player for best listening music experience, press right menu key and scroll down select "Use Lockscreen controls" and also select "Noozoxide balanced X-EQ Processor" for optimum bass reproduction using quality earphones. U can also set equalizer while playing song and I think u must. ;)

If after few days of ROM usages it seems slow then go to CWM recovery and wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache and reboot.

Instructions For Locked Bootloader:

3 - Enter Recovery, Clear Cache and Davilk Cache.

4 - Download Gin2JellyBean Rom And Flash it with ClockWorkMod.

5 - Reboot and play for a while.

6 - Reboot a second time and Enjoy!
